March 2, 2005, the House of Representatives passed a bill called "Congress 45," highlighting how important music education is for a school experience and that it should be available to all students.

10. Music performance teaches students to conquer fear and to take risks. A little anxiety is a good thing, and something that will occur often in life. Dealing with it early and often makes it less of a problem later.
